Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif- a most anticipated couple of Bollywood towns of the year 2021. This couple created many headlines in media by their marriage announcement. Social media was flooded with their pictures, wedding feeds that left the entire country amazed. The love story of Vicky and Katrina came to the limelight back in 2019 with Koffee with Karan when Katrina appreciated Kaushal’s skills. Later, Kaushal accepted that Katrina is his long-time crush. They were seen together in many award functions and other B Town events. Although the couple never openly expressed their love for each other and were always the target of media speculations.

The star couple tied the knot on 9th December 2021 in the Six Senses Resort Bawara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The venue has the contemporary Rajasthani architecture to offer royal vibes to newlyweds.  This royal destination was a perfect match for this divine duo of the Indian film industry. Wedding ceremonies extended to three days of celebrations. Pre-wedding rituals were organized in Mumbai’s residence of Vicky Kaushal. The couple got their marriage registered in the presence of their family members. Katrina was seen adorned in a ruffle saree exclusively designed by Arpita Mehta. Pictures of pre-wedding functions like Mehendi, Haldi won the hearts of the viewers. Following the reports of PTI, 20kg of organic henna was supplied from the Sojat of Rajasthan’s Pali district that is known for Mehendi cultivation. Katrina roped in famous henna artist Veena Nagda to apply Mehendi for her D Day. There was a “bling” themed sangeet night that was the cherry on the cake. Katrina wore a multi-colored Matka silk lehenga with a patchwork blouse by Sabyasachi’s collection Kashgaar Bazaar. Vicky was dressed in an embroidered raw silk bandhgala jacket with coromandel chintz prints with a mint silk kurta. The couple’s dancing clicks gained attention in social media which was enough to profess their love.

The couple Haldi ceremony included a bundle of love, laughter, and emotional moments. Both the stars took on their official Instagram handles to share their candid moments with their fans. Katrina looked gorgeous in Sabyasachi ivory organdy lehenga with gota and tilla embroidery and an organza dupatta designed exclusively by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Kaushal went for Sabyasachi’s khadi kurta and salwar.

The couple looked stunning in their wedding clicks and garnered blessings from the film fraternity. Katrina’s teary eyes and Vicky holding her hand tightly made everyone fall in love with this star couple. Sabyasachi’s red classic red lehenga handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work worn by Katrina and Vicky’s ivory silk sherwani with intricate marori embroidery, silk kurta, and churidar made their wedding day grand and awesome.

There were almost 120 people on the guest list that included Shahrukh Khan, Nitya Mehra, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Angad Bedi, Neha Dhupia, Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal, and many more. The couple maintained complete privacy restricting their guests to take any pictures, videos. After the completion of nuptial rites, the couple sent sweets to the media members standing outside the venue. This sweet gesture gained appraisal for the couple. The couple sold their wedding telecast rights to Amazon Prime charging the whopping amount of eighty crores.

The duo will be soon organizing the reception party for the Bollywood film fraternity. We wish for their love, lifelong happiness, and flourishing married life.
